Calculator for Microflex Heating Pipes

Part number selection

It’s important to make the appropriate choice of Microflex inner pipe, based on the required heat load. Follow the guidelines to select the pipes for your heating connection/network:

  1. Enter project name.
  2. Name your connection (for example: Boiler room – House 1).
  3. Fill in the temperatures of flow and return. Ground temperature is preset on 10°C, but can be changed.
  4. Fill in the required heat load, and press ‘enter’. The overview table shows the result of all possible diameters with the following data
    • Flow speed in carrier pipe [m/s] (Recommended value is 1m/s)
    • Approximate flow [l/s]
    • Pressure loss [Pa/m]
  5. Select the appropriate pipe.
  6. Select UNO or DUO (one or two pipes in same outer jacket).
  7. Select the diameter of the outer casing. The appropriate part number based on the chosen parameters appear.
  8. Fill in the required single length.
