Detailed Description

Huntingdon Community Hall is a £1 million investment in a state-of-the-art community facility featuring a brand-new community library featuring the latest IT equipment, multi-changing rooms, several large function rooms, and a modern kitchen.

Officially opened in February 2020, and named the Coneygear Centre, this new Community Hall replaces an existing facility. At Watts UK we understand the environmental and energy saving benefits of installing underfloor heating with smart home controls in new buildings.

A Watts underfloor heating system utilising stainless steel manifolds (exc. pipe) was supplied through Heated Floors and installed by ATM (Andy Merry) throughout the entire hall and adjoining rooms, approx. 16 zones in total to provide an energy efficient and comfortable heating system. In addition to this, a Watts underfloor control package was supplied through the merchant Grant & Stone, comprising of Watts Vision® Central Controller along with the latest BTD-03 wireless thermostats and RF wiring centres.

Robert Hill, Regional Sales Manager for Watts explains: “This type of commercial project is ideal for Watts Vision® and the underfloor heating system will provide a comfortable environment for the community. Heated Floors and Grant & Stone have delivered a solution that is both high-quality and cost-effective in a space that the community can enjoy for years to come.”
